1. Service Description

PolyTax generates tax reports based on publicly available blockchain data from the Polygon network. Reports include Form 8949, detailed transaction history, and TurboTax-compatible exports for Polymarket trading activity.

2. Not Tax Advice

PolyTax is a software tool, not a tax advisor. Reports are generated based on our interpretation of on-chain data using FIFO cost basis methodology. The IRS has not issued definitive guidance on the tax treatment of prediction market positions. You should consult a qualified tax professional before filing.

3. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy and cross-reference calculations against Polymarket's accounting snapshots, we cannot guarantee the completeness or correctness of reports. Blockchain data is read as-is from the Polygon network.

4. Payments

Full reports are available for a one-time fee per wallet per tax year. Payments are processed through Stripe. All sales are final — refunds are at our discretion.

5. Report Storage

Paid reports are stored permanently and can be re-downloaded at any time through your dashboard.

6. Limitation of Liability

PolyTax is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any tax penalties, underpayments, or other consequences arising from the use of our reports.
